Chapter Three

Adam hurried along empty corridors, leaving wet footprints in his wake. He stopped by the deserted school office to grab his gym bag then hurried toward Wildblood’s office. A nearby eruption of laughter told him the party was continuing in the boardroom, and very successfully from the sounds of it. He hoped nobody had missed his or Dexter’s presence.

Feeling like a burglar, Adam unlocked Wildblood’s office, softly closed the door and turned up the dimmer switch. He glanced around, taking in the messy corner desk, the thunderous sky beyond the two paned windows, and the gilt-framed mirror above a boarded-up fireplace, towers of books stacked in the hearth.

Immediately, he stripped off his wet clothes and began rubbing himself dry with his gym towel, unable to wipe the grin from his face. He was rubbing his hair when a tap at the door was quickly followed by Dexter’s entrance. Dexter closed the door, turned the lock and leaned against the wood, eyes trawling Adam’s nakedness, his half-exposed chest rising and falling.

“Fuck,” breathed Dexter. “Never has this room looked so fucking gorgeous.”

Turning, Adam caught a glimpse of his upper body in the mirror, and saw what Dexter saw —a muscular, tanned man briskly toweling his wet hair, his cheeks a little flushed, and as unapologetically naked as a guy in a locker room, rather than in a cozy, book-crammed professorial office. The mirror, however, didn’t reflect his enormous boner, which put rather a different spin on the occasion.

“I want to ruin you,” said Wildblood. “Lay waste to your exquisite beauty. Fuck your Goddamn brains out.”

Reaching back for his collar, the professor tugged his sodden shirt over his head, white cotton clinging to his skin. He cracked the garment at the air, showering the room in droplets, and flung it aside before hurrying to strip off the remainder of his clothes. Before long, he was as naked as Adam but significantly wetter, water dripping from his curls and running over his well-muscled chest.
